David Bellamy's controversial stance on global warming looks set to see him lose his positions as president of Plantlife Intetnational and the Wildlife Trusts.

 Details
David Bellamy has, for some time, been an outspoken critic of wind-farm projects and a doubter of man-made global warming. He has led seminars and written articles in science magazines pouring scorn on the idea that global warming is a man-made phenomenon. This flies in the face of the line taken by the Wildlife Trusts and Plantlife International who both warn that we face environmental disaster due to man-made global warming. Both presidencies are up for renewal in the autumn and it seems unlikely that either will be offered to Dr Bellamy again.
